Inventary Specialist



We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. This position will perform the function necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of parts. This entails receiving, stocking, cycle counting, and preparing and shipping customer orders.


Inspecting and appropriately delivering received materials matching purchase orders, packing slips, and
manufacturer’s part numbers to ensure the correct parts
and quantities are processed Stocking items on shelves in accordance with orderly inventory location system
Pulling parts from inventory and packaging them for
shipment to customer locations
Performing cycle counts on all
inventory items to ensure accurate annual inventory
Maintaining a safe and organized work area
Keeping supervisor informed of pertinent issues involving inventory

High school diploma or equivalency
Minimum of two years of experience in inventory control
functions in a manufacturing environments
Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal
Demonstrated ability to work with computerized ERP
system and to perform basic mathematical computations
Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
Forklift experience or willingness to train
Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
